Instructions for Presenters & Chairs
General instructions for participants
All talks will take place in the Western Gateway Building, Rooms G.01, G.02, G.03, G.04, and G.05. Each room is equipped with projectors, desktop computers, and USB‑C connections for personal laptops. Throughout the conference, student volunteers will be available in each room to provide technical support if needed.
Instructions for symposia organisers and session chairs
We kindly ask you to visit your assigned room in advance and inform us of any issues as early as possible. Please ensure that you are present in your session room 5–10 minutes before the session begins. Additionally, make sure that all speakers have their presentations ready, either on a USB memory stick or on their own laptops.
Instructions for speakers
Speakers may use their own laptops if preferred. Please note that all rooms are equipped with USB‑C connections; if your laptop does not support USB‑C, please make sure to have an appropriate adapter. Alternatively, speakers may bring their presentations on a USB memory stick and use the desktop computers provided in the rooms.
Instructions for poster presenters
Posters may be printed in A0 portrait or A1 format (portrait or landscape). Please note that the poster stands are too narrow to accommodate A0 landscape posters. Poster stands will be available from Tuesday, 21 July. We encourage you to display your poster as early as possible to allow participants to view them during coffee breaks. The official poster session and reception will take place on Thursday from 17:45 to 20:00 (Cork time).
